Even though Barbados is not a huge island, you can find many nice venues to enjoy great food, enjoy the sunset or relax while having a classic cocktail. A visit to the well established Sandy Lane Country Club should be on your list just like a trip down to the coast to La Cabane, nicely situated right at the beach. Below, however, please find some places rather close to Ascot 3 Villa.
The Local & Co.
The Local & Co. is our favorite restaurant on the island! The ingredients for the great dishes are sourced from "local and regional farms, producers and wild foragers. The menu is determined by what local farmers have available at the time and what the chefs have managed to gather and preserve in house through the seasons."

Sophie Michell - a well known Chef and Author from the UK - runs a tight ship on this beach-front restaurant, nicely located in Speightstown. You can also get great food for take out, fresh eggs for your next breakfast, or some sweets for the afternoon tea! Pure joy!

You can also spend more time at the Local & Co. - renting one of the available lounge chairs.
Sea Shed
The Sea Shed is a very inviting, loungy kind of restaurant in walking distance from Ascot 3 Villa. Listen to cool music while enjoying one of the signature cocktails, or having a relaxing lunch - or dinner with a breathtaking view when the sun goes down. There might even be a DJ to play the tunes you have been waiting for all year long. Just the right place to get a feel for the island life!

You can also rent a lounge chair for the entire day and forget about the rest of the world - after all, this is why you are on Barbados, right?

Cobblers Cove
Cobblers Cove is one of a kind - a very stylish boutique hotel and retreat. When you spend time at the Cobblers, it just slows down, and you just do not want to leave.
Great BBQs, live music, and the original Bajan vibe only a place like the Cobblers can bring across to you - this is where you at least have to be once while on the island - and you will come back. Joanna Roterberg, the very nice and attentive manager of the Cobblers, will make sure of that!
